LGBT Legal Clinic Opening in Seattle

I am thrilled to share this great news with you. Last week our colleagues at QLaw Foundation, the GLBT Bar Association Foundation of Washington, announced the grand opening of a free legal clinic specifically designed to address the legal needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and couples. The clinic is part of the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinic Program, and we hear the first clinic was a success.

QLaw Foundation Free LGBT Legal Clinic:

  • Open the third Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • By appointment only—to make an appointment please call: 206-235-7235. Staff is available to schedule appointments every Tuesday from 12 noon to 3:00 PM.
  • Free of charge to the public.

At the clinic, an attorney will meet with you for 30 minutes and provide you with individualized legal advice and information. Clinic attorneys will answer questions and provide information in a variety of areas including family law, debt and bankruptcy, divorce and dissolution, employment discrimination, and transgender legal issues. The clinic is open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Congratulations to the QLaw Foundation on opening this valuable resource for our community! Click here for more information, and then let your friends and family know about this great resource.
